Mr. & Mrs. Gregory

Bryce and Sasha Gregory always dreamed of owning their own event venue, and their journey is a testament to passion and perseverance.

Sasha, a wedding photographer with over 15 years of experience, was born and raised in Puerto Rico before making Charleston her home in 2007. Bryce, originally from Union, SC, moved to Charleston in 2002 to play football in college for Charleston Southern University. He later transitioned from a rewarding career as a police officer to pursue his passion for videography for over 5 years. Together for over 6 years, they celebrated their love by marrying at this very property, formerly known as The Arch, in 2022. Their dream came to fruition in August 2024 when they purchased the venue, now lovingly known as 108 W Main. With a heart full of excitement and joy, Bryce and Sasha are thrilled to offer a beautiful space for couples, corporate events, and the community to create lasting memories. Welcome to 108 W Main, where your perfect event awaits.

Spann Family

First owners of 108 W Main

Built in the 1940s, this house has a rich history with the Spann family. Jack Spann, a civil engineer, and his wife Grace, a piano instructor and French teacher, raised their three children here. One of their sons, Donald Spann, was born in 1943 at the hospital across the street. When his parents moved in the 1970s, he purchased the house, continuing the family legacy. Long before the home was transformed into a wedding venue, the Spann family celebrated a marriage of its own on the property. On June 30, 1960, their daughter Linden had her reception on the front lawn, making her the first bride at 108 W Main.

The Arch

108 W Main was previously known as The Arch, this venue was transformed by Mary Wilson, who started The Arch in 2014, bringing over 15 years of expertise in the wedding and event industry. Her vision and dedication turned a simple house into an exceptional venue, reflecting her passion for crafting dream weddings.

In August 2024, the venue was sold to Bryce and Sasha, who continue the tradition of excellence.

Although Mary has retired from managing the venue, she continues to offer her expertise in catering, flowers, and planning. As a preferred vendor for 108 W Main and other venues throughout the Lowcountry, Mary ensures each event is distinct and unique with her A-Team Event Planning.
